Brighton UK: Xchanging Insurance Conference

An early rise this morning after celebrating my girlfriend Mascha’s 40th birthday (she still looks 30 to me!). A short night and a flight into London Gatwick – the long distance walking airport. It took me almost an hour walking from the gate to the trains and that had nothing to do with yesterday’s red wine – all with the crazy organized walkways.

I’m in Brighton now – a dusty bathing town on the South coast of England. This is the venue where representants from major players in the London Market are gathering to exchange information on how they can “deliver results in the electronic world.” Aia Software has a booth at the expo and we are showcasing prototypes of our Slip (MRC), Covernote and Endorsement (MRCE, The Market Reform Contract Endorsement) composition solution.

This is really the right solution at the right moment in the right place.  The London Insurance Market is looking for ways to improve its document delivery and ITP fits perfectly into this gap.

Our business partners Xchanging IS and Trace Isys are also on the exposition – parts of their demos are also “Powered by ITP”.

I did bring my running shoes and want to go for a run on the beach tomorrow - although the weather is not really inviting to take a walk on the beach. The Seven Hills Run is coming in 2 weeks and I want to have my condition on the best possible level!
